About
The Fremont Creative District celebrates, preserves, and enhances the unique artistic spirit of Fremont. We connect people and resources, invest in Fremont’s creative economy, and expand opportunities for creativity, expression, and innovation. Our vision includes maintaining and honoring Fremont’s public art and programming while sparking new creative projects, events, and spaces. Fremont Creative District: De Libertas Quirkas—Freedom to be Peculiar, and Where Creativity is Limitless! Join us!
Our goal is to get Fremont designated as a Creative District in Washington state. We're doing this to:
- Gain access to community development funding
- Increase neighborhood tourism
- Create an opportunity for long-term strategic planning
And while we're doing that, we're also hosting live creative events and working to maintain and create new creative endeavors:
- Maintaining existing public art
- Supporting existing events (we're working to bring back the Fremont Art walk)
- Creating new events and projects
